Free agent ILB Karlos Dansby is currently meeting with the Arizona Cardinals. Dansby leads the pool of available linebackers with 332 combined tackles in the last three seasons - More than Brian Urlacher, Nick Barnett, Michael Boley, and Brendon Ayanbadejo.
Ex-#Dolphins LB Karlos Dansby is visiting the #Cardinals right now, I'm told. (@mikejurecki first mentioned). Daryl Washington insurance?

Since being released by the Dolphins, Karlos Dansby has done anything but make a splash in free agency. The Bengals, Bills, and Cardinals have all shown some interest in the aging inside linebacker. I have him ranked near the top of my available free agents list. Dansby will be 32 at the end of this year and has lost a step in his pass rushing ability - 20.5 sacks in his first 4 seasons, 7 sacks in the last 4. He was drafted in 2004 by the Cardinals ('04-'09) and played the last three seasons with the Dolphins.
At this point in free agency, whatever team lands Dansby is likely going to find value. Other options still unsigned at ILB are Brendon Ayanbadejo and Brian Urlacher - both 36 years old. Even though Dansby is reportedly requiring a multi-year contract, it would be worth it for a team like Baltimore, Arizona, Chicago, or Minnesota to roll the dice on him anchoring their defense.
