Felix Jones will meet with, and work out for, the New England Patriots this week.
Ex-#Cowboys RB Felix Jones is visiting #Patriots today and tomorrow. The plan is for him to work out, I'm told. Visited #Eagles recently

Per NFL.com the Cincinnati Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles, and Patriots are the front runners to sign the 26-year-old free agent running back. Jones, a former first-round pick out of Arkansas, has played his entire five-year career in Dallas where he has logged 569 rushes for 2,728 yards (4.8 avg.) and 11 touchdowns for the Cowboys. He also averages two catches per game played, 8.4 yards per catch, and has three receiving scores. Jones also has the ability to return kicks.
It's worth noting that today (May 8th) is Felix Jones' birthday. This is obviously not an NFL stat, but I wouldn't be traveling to Boston on my birthday unless I thought the Patriots interest was legitimate.
