NFL rumors: TV next stop for Tim Tebow?

Free agent Tim Tebow is currently seeking another opportunity to be a quarterback in the National Football League. If this effort fails, Rob Raissman of The New York Daily News believes he could land a position as a television football analyst.

The New York Jets recently released Tebow, meaning he can sign with any team he chooses. Of course, that assumes a team wants Tebow, which doesn't appear to be the case at this point. This is especially true if he continues to hold out hope of playing quarterback in the NFL, as his chances of signing will likely increase if he would agree to move to a H-back type of position.

If this doesn't happen, Tebow may go to Canada or the Arena Football League in hopes of continuing his career as a professional quarterback. Voices out of the CFL have already said they view him as a backup, while it's unclear if Tebow would entertain playing in the AFL.

If he'd want to take a year away from football or even call it a career, Raissman believes Tebow would have no trouble landing a prime analyst job with a major sports network. He lists FOX Sports One as a major competitor of his services, and of course ESPN would come calling considering their love of the polarizing figure.
