Jets' Dee Milliner not concerned about surgeries

Entering the NFL Draft, there was little argument that University of Alabama produce Dee Milliner was the best cornerback available. However, there were injury questions surrounding Milliner considering he underwent five surgeries during his time with the Tide. While others expressed concerns, Milliner isn't worried, as he told ESPN New York that the procedures were "minor."
"Oh man, because all of the surgeries were nothing. They were nothing major, all of them were minor. And then, I don’t like to miss games. I just try to go out there, if I’m in the game, and play like I don’t have any injuries. I like to go out there. You have to make a sacrifice, so I sacrifice if I have an injury, but I’m going to go out there and play in the game."

Milliner's most recent surgery was to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. While it could prove minor, it is still expected to keep him off the field during the Jets' offseason workouts. He's likely to return in time for training camp, and New York is counting on him as Darrells Revis' replacement.
