One of the larger NFL stories as the new season approaches
will be the status of Darrelle Revis’ surgically-repaired knee. He’s been
steadily progressing through the offseason, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
cornerback has now been cleared to cut and change directions, according to Pro Football Talk.

Revis told Andrea Kremer of NFL Network that he feels “very
confident” in his knee, adding that he’s prepared to do what his trainers tell
him to do when it comes to cutting. He intends not to think about it too much, which
is important considering we’ve seen that these types of injuries can haunt
players in their minds.
Revis is confident he’ll return to the player he was before
the significant injury that cost him last season. He was acquired by Tampa Bay
from the New York Jets in exchange for the No. 13 overall pick in the 2013
draft and a third-round selection next year.
