Bengals' Leon Hall recovering from torn thumb ligament

Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Leon Hall will miss the beginning of OTAs due to a torn ligament in his thumb, according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.

While the ailment will keep Hall out for a "bit," Hobson says that the corner is expected back at some point during OTAs. For this reason, it doesn't sound like the injury is a concern when it comes to Halls availability for training camp.

Hall was sidelined through last season's OTAs as well, but it was due to a much more severe injury; an Achilles ailment. Still, the Bengals could opt to rest Hall until mandatory minicamp begins next month considering he's cemented his status as a starter with the club.

Starting 14 games for the Bengals last season, Hall recorded 38 tackles and two interceptions -- one of which was returned for a touchdown. He also defensed 11 passes.
