Sooo... Who's T.J. Moe? Well he's the only guy who ran the 20 yard shuffle faster than Tavon Austin. The Patriots just scooped up the undrafted free agent following the 7th round of the draft.
Congrats to client T.J. Moe (WR) who agreed to terms with the New England Patriots.

I have to let my Patriots fandom take over for a minute because this story might have gone by the wayside if it wasn't for my fascination with this kid. Moe is 5'11", weighs 204lb. He clocked an underwhelming 4.74 forty at the combine - not what teams typically look for in a wide-out.
What makes Moe stand out are his other numbers. He put up the 225lb bench bar 26 times - the only receiver to come close to Moe was Josh Boyce (22) (drafted by the Patriots). His 3-cone drill time was 6.53 seconds - second best was Marquess Wilson (6.65) drafted by Chicago (Boyce was third). Moe clocked the 20 yard shuttle at 3.96 - Tavon Austin & Quinton Patton tied for 2nd (4.01). Possibly his most impressive performance came at the 60 yard shuttle. T.J. set a combine record at 10.87 seconds, putting himself above names like Brian Hartline (4th), Julio Jones (9th), and Greg Jennings (14th).
Moe is described on NFL.com as a “Compact and solid frame. Works well over the middle, showing the toughness to hold onto the ball after taking a hit. Physical and aggressive route runner. Reliable hands. Good quickness in and out of his breaks.” ...Not to sound too nostalgic, but I remind readers that this is not a description of Wes Welker.
From a Patriots perspective, Moe is a nice compliment to Danny Amendola - especially with Danny's injury history - I'm excited to see how he progresses this offseason.
