The Dolphins have been discussing the idea of trading Bess
for the past month, but they have only recently been actively shopping the wide
out. Miami is said to have begun searching for suitors, and there are
reportedly several teams interested in Bess.
Sean Jensen of The Chicago Sun-Times reported yesterday that
the Cleveland Browns are “seriously considering” a trade for Bess. He adds that
there are “several teams in the mix” for the wide receiver.

Miami is said to be seeking a mid-round pick for Bess. Among
the team’s they’ve reached out to in order to gauge interest in the receiver are
the Arizona Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings, San Francisco 49ers
and New York Jets.
Bess appeared in 15 games for the Dolphins last season, finishing
the year with 61 catches for 778 yards and one touchdown. NFL.com notes that Miami
now considers him expendable after adding receivers Mike Wallace and Brandon
Gibson over the offseason.
