Seahawks LB Leroy Hill arrested for domestic violence

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill has been arrested for a domestic violence incident in the suburb of Issaquah, Washington, according to Mike Ferreri of ABC Seattle.

Hill hasn’t been formally charged yet, but he was arrested for two domestic violence infractions, according to Curtis Crabtree of Pro Football Talk:

Hill was arrested for fourth-degree assault and unlawful imprisonment. The assault would be a gross misdemeanor while the unlawful imprisonment would be a Class C felony charge in Washington state. The latter would carry a sentence of up to five years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000 if Hill is charged and convicted.

This marks Hill’s latest off-field incident, as he was also arrested for domestic violence in April 2010. The charge in that case was ultimately dropped after he agreed to enroll in a domestic violence treatment program.

Beyond his issues with domestic violence, Hill has also been arrested twice on marijuana-related offenses.
Over 13 games for the Seahawks last season, Hill recorded 47 tackles with 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. The eight-year pro is set to hit free agency this offseason.
