The Seattle Seahawks worked out defensive lineman Ray Edwards
earlier in the week, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, and they
could sign the veteran for the playoffs.

Free agent DE Ray Edwards working out for an NFC West team today. But it's not the #49ers, it's Seattle.

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Seahawks
are supposed to make a decision on whether or not to sign Edwards by today.
Edwards was released by the Atlanta Falcons in November and
has remained on the open market since. Florio notes that while the defensive
end has never been anything too special in the regular season, he did have a
great postseason in 2009.
