New England has ruled out tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm),
offensive lineman Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) and defensive lineman Chandler
Jones (ankle). All three players didn’t practice the entire week.
Edelman suffered a concussion on Thanksgiving Day against
the New York Jets, and the wide receiver has been limited at practice all week.
Hernandez and Welker, who’ve been hampered by ankle injuries, also were limited
this week, while Lloyd is dealing with an injured hamstring.
Other notables included as questionable on the team’s injury
report are linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee), safety Patrick Chung
(shoulder/hamstring) and offensive lineman Dan Connolly (back).
