While Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte and cornerback
Charles Tillman returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday’s
session, linebacker Brian Urlacher was once again sidelined due to injury.
Forte, who’s dealing with an ankle injury, and Tillman, who’s
recovering from injuries to his ribs and elbow, both returned at a limited
capacity Thursday. Forte exited last weekend’s win over the Arizona Cardinals
due to his ankle injury, but he and Tillman are both expected to suit up
Sunday.
Urlacher continues to be hampered by a hamstring injury. The
veteran linebacker is hoping to recover in time to make an appearance in the
postseason, if the Bears should advance, but it looks like he’ll continue to be
sidelined this weekend.
Beyond Urlacher, running back Armando Allen (knee), safety
Chris Conte (hamstring) and linebacker Blake Costanzo (calf) also didn’t
practice Thursday. Defensive lineman Henry Melton participated but was limited
by a chest injury.
