Bears Injury Report: Matt Forte, Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte and cornerback Charles Tillman are probable to play today against the Detroit Lions, but linebacker Brian Urlacher is doubtful to suit up due to a hamstring injury.

Urlacher was able to return to practice Friday and his doubtful status is actually an upgrade. Still, it doesn’t appear the veteran linebacker will be able to suit up for what could be the final game of the season for the Bears.

While Forte exited last weekend’s contest against the Arizona Cardinals due to an ankle injury, the running back is expected to play during Chicago’s must-win game against the Lions, according to Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune.

Forte left last Sunday’s victory over the Cardinals with a sprained right ankle in the third quarter but he practiced for the second consecutive day Friday in the Walter Payton Center and is expected to start against the Lions at Ford Field.

Beyond Forte, Tillman (ribs, elbow), offensive lineman Jonathan Scott (hamstring) and cornerback Tim Jennings (shoulder) are all probable to play. Safety Chris Conte (hamstring) and linebacker Blake Costanzo (calf) have been ruled out, while running back Armando Allen (knee) and defensive lineman Henry Melton (chest) are questionable to suit up.
