Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was a limited
participant in practice Thursday and is considered a “longshot” to return for
Sunday’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, the Associated Press reports.
While Roethlisberger told reporters “there’s always a chance,” he continues to be hampered by his sprained right shoulder and dislocated rib injuries that he suffered during the team’s overtime victory over the Kansas Chiefs a few weeks ago.

Roethlisberger practiced in a limited role Thursday and appears a longshot to return for Sunday's game in Baltimore.
While Roethlisberger told reporters “there’s always a chance,” he continues to be hampered by his sprained right shoulder and dislocated rib injuries that he suffered during the team’s overtime victory over the Kansas Chiefs a few weeks ago.
While Roethlisberger’s pain isn’t as severe as it was
immediately after sustaining the injuries, he still doesn’t know if “he can
make all the throws necessary to attack Baltimore’s secondary.” If he’s unable
to suit up against the Ravens, the Steelers would once again turn to veteran
quarterback and long-time backup Charlie Batch.
