Raiders Injury Report: Darren McFadden Expected Back This Weekend

Teammates expect Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden to return this week after missing three straight starts due to a high ankle sprain, reports Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Teammates expect running back Darren McFadden to return this week, after he missed his third straight start Sunday with a high ankle sprain.

McFadden has been out since a Nov. 4 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, during which he sustained his high ankle sprain. Fellow running back Mike Goodson also suffered a high ankle sprain during that contest, and both have been sidelined since.

In their place, the Raiders have gone with a trio of running backs, with Marcel Reece and Jeremy Stewart getting a majority of the carries. Reece had over 100 total yards (74 rushing, 29 receiving) for Oakland last weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals.
