Jones returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday due
to an ankle injury. His participation in Thursday’s practice is an encouraging sign
as he prepares for this weekend’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While Jones was able to return to practice, linebacker Sean
Weatherspoon (illness/ankle), cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder), safety
Charles Mitchell (calf) and defensive lineman Peria Jerry (quad) didn’t suit up
Thursday.
Beyond Turner, other key players, including defensive
linemen John Abraham (back) and Jonathan Babineaux (back) continued to b e
limited at practice Thursday.
