Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder) and defensive tackle Peria Jerry (quadriceps) would not have practiced if the team held a full workout on Monday.
Because the Falcons play Thursday night, they only held a
walk-through practice on Monday at the team’s indoor facility. However, if they
would have suited up as normal Samuel and Jerry would not have practice due to
their injuries.
Beyond Samuel and Jerry, wide receiver Harry Douglas
(ankle), safety Charles Mitchell (calf), linebacker Stephen Nicholas (knee), offensive
lineman Sam Baker (groin), wide receiver Kevin Cone (groin), tight end Michael
Palmer (back), defensive lineman Vance Walker (ribs) and Weatherspoon were all
limited in practice.
