Sanu is expected to require two to three months of recovery
time following the procedure that is scheduled for Monday. While the wide
receiver didn’t have eye-popping numbers this season, he had come on of late to
provide quarterback Andy Dalton with a nice red zone option.
This season for the Bengals Sanu caught 16 passes for 154
yards, all coming after Week 6. He had four touchdowns in the last three weeks.
With Sanu sidelined for the remainder of the season, the
Bengals will likely rely more on wide receiver Andrew Hawkins.
