Cowboys Injury Report: Dan Connor Strains Neck

Cowboys linebacker Dan Connor left yesterday’s loss to the New York Giants with a strained neck, reports Jimmy Burch of the Star-Telegram. Connor was replacing linebacker Sean Lee, who’s out for the remainder of the season, in Dallas’ lineup.

“I was out there feeling good. It happened,” Connor said. “Your shoulder goes numb and you get burners down your arms. It’s too early to tell (about the Atlanta game), I think.”

Initial X-rays were negative, but Connor is scheduled to undergo more tests this week before the Cowboys will be able to determine his availability for next week’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Following his second quarter injury, Connor was replaced by linebacker Orie Lemon
