NFL Injury Report: New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers

The New York Giants and Carolina Panthers have the undesirable draw of the short week.  To further their issues, each team is dealing with injuries to multiple key players.  The Giants have already ruled several stars out, while the Panthers have a few key contributors listed as questionable for tonight’s contest.

New York was able to pull off a come-from-behind victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend, but they didn’t exit the contest unscathed.  The Giants will enter their primetime matchup with the Panthers without starting running back Ahmad Bradshaw, offensive lineman David Diehl, and top wide receiver Hakeem Nicks.

Beyond these three well-known players, New York will also be without wide receiver Domenik Hixon and defensive end Adewale Ojomo.  Cornerback Michael Coe is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, while linebacker Keith Rivers, running back Da’Rel Scott and cornerback Prince Amukamara are all probably for tonight’s game.

The Panthers only have one player that’s been ruled out at this point, offensive lineman Mike Pollak.  However, Carolina has several players, including offensive lineman Byron Bell, linebacker Thomas Davis, safety Colin Jones and running back Jonathan Stewart listed as questionable.  Linebacker Jon Beason, offensive lineman Ryan Kalil, and wide receivers Steve Smith and Kealoha Pilares are all probable for the game.
