Raiders' Pat Sims return from injury

The Oakland Raiders have struggled on defense this preseason, but they received a boost last night When defensive tackle Pat Sims returned from injury.  Sims has been out most of training camp and all three preseason games with a hamstring injury.  Sims played pretty well last night, he had two quarterback hits and was getting plenty of pressure on the Seattle quarterbacks.

Head Coach Dennis Allen was happy with how his defense played against the run and a large part of that was Pat Sims returning and getting into the backfield.  Allen wants his team to be physical and believes last night they were.
"Pat did some good things, One of the positives tonight was our defense played the run really well. We wanted to be a physical team tonight and we did that."
Defensive end Lamarr Houston also played well last night recording one sack and three tackles.  Two of those tackles went for a loss of yards.  This was his second game back, after returning from an injury last friday.
