Buffalo Bills quarterback, Kevin Kolb, got the start for the
all-important third preseason game on Saturday with E.J. Manuel sidelined with
knee issues. However, Kolb’s start
lasted as long as a Western New York summer.

Josh
Alper of NBCSports reports that Kolb left Saturday’s game against the
Washington Redskins with “concussion-like” symptoms after the second offensive
series. Kolb took a knee to the head and
did not return. Undrafted rookie free
agent, Jeff Tuel, took over under center for the injured Kolb. Kolb has had concussion issues before while
QB for the Arizona Cardinals.
With the uncertainty at the QB position, reports are the
Bills are looking for short-term help and are considering veteran QBs Matt
Leinart and John Beck. Things must be grim
if the Bills are spending their time looking at the likes of Leinart and
Beck. I realize the Bills need a short-term
solution but Leinart and Beck. I guess the
question is, will it be Tuel backing up one of these cast-offs or the other way
around.
