Titans waive third year RB Jamie Harper

The Tennessee Titans have waived their 2011 4th round pick Jamie Harper. Harper had 36 carries for 74 yards (2.1 avg.) and  four scores during his two seasons backing up Chris Johnson. He is 23 years old from Clemson - 5'11" 233lb. I'd expect Harper to draw interest from teams looking for depth at the running back position.

On March 13th, Shonn Greene signed a three-year, $10 million contract with the Titans. The deal contained $4.5 million guaranteed, including a $2.5 million signing bonus. The Titans organization has labeled Greene a "change of pace back" and expect CJ2K to continue to lead Tennessee's run-first offense.

Darius Reynaud - special teams unit - will serve as the Titans' No. 3 ball carrier in 2013.
