The market for Green Bay Packers free agent Charles Woodson
has picked up in the last few weeks. He’s visited with several teams, and he
has at least one other meeting lined up. While the Detroit Lions are not viewed
as a favorite to ink the veteran defensive back, Woodson said he’d be willing
to join the team at the right price, according to Angelique S. Chengelis of The
Detroit News.

"If I make it out of my visit with Oakland, like I just made it out of the visit with Denver, then I'm open," Woodson said. "Here's the thing about the Lions, the Lions have players. What the Lions haven't been able to do is put it together. That winning attitude and to be able to start those winning ways, it has to start somewhere. So, would I be open? Sure."
While Woodson would be “open” to signing with the Lions, he
also added that the “business part has to be right, too, and that's just a
fact."
Woodson visited with the Denver Broncos last week, and he’s
expected to meet with his former team – the Oakland Raiders – early this week.
While the Broncos are viewed as the favorite to sign Woodson since they are the
top contender to show interest in the free agent, nothing is imminent.
