The Dallas Cowboys have several coaches on staff that have
ties to former Oakland Raiders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden,
leading some to speculate he may be joining the ranks of America’s Team.
However, a source told Ed Werder of ESPN that the Gruden to Cowboys rumors are “ridiculous.”

Response from reliable team source when I asked if TB glory-days asst. coaches being hired in Dallas meant Gruden on way: "Ridiculous."

At this point, the Cowboys have Monte Kiffin, defensive
coordinator, Rod Marinelli, defensive line coach, Rich Bisaccia, special teams
coach, and Bill Callahan, offensive coordinator, on staff. All were on staff
with Gruden at one point or another during his time with the Raiders and Bucs,
but this doesn’t mean that the stars are aligning for his return to coaching.
Jason Garrett is the Cowboys’ coach and Gruden will remain
in the television booth for at least another year.
