While Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield and defensive
lineman Jared Allen are expected to suit up for today’s pivotal matchup against
the Green Bay Packers, defensive lineman Brian Robison is less likely to play,
according to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.
Two of the Vikings' best players – cornerback Antoine Winfield (knee) and defensive end Brian Robison (shoulder) -- are questionable to face the Packers. Winfield didn't practice all week, but Vikings coach Leslie Frazier indicated the cornerback should suit up Sunday. Robison is less likely to play against the Packers.
Allen didn’t participate in Wednesday’s session, but he
returned to practice fully Thursday and was not included on the team’s report
Friday. Winfield didn’t practice all week and is listed as questionable, but
the cornerback is expected to suit up.
Beyond Allen, punter Chris Kluwe (left knee), offensive
lineman Phil Loadholt (knee), running back Adrian Peterson (abdomen) and
cornerback Sherels Marcus (quadriceps) are probable to play against the
Packers. Robison and Winfield are both questionable to suit up.
