Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed practice
Wednesday due to an abdomen injury, reports Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
While it’s never good to be absent from practice due to
injury-related reasons, it’s clear that Peterson will suit up Sunday when the
Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers, according to Florio.
Peterson undoubtedly will play; Frazier already shared that information with Peter King on Sunday, after the Vikings knocked off the Texans.
Not only will the Vikings be playing for a shot at the
playoffs, but Peterson is chasing history. More specifically, the running back
will be attempting to break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record.
Beyond Peterson, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen
(shoulder, illness) missed practice, as did cornerback Antoine Winfield, who’s
recovering from a fractured hand and a knee injury.
