The New England Patriots officially ruled tight end Rob
Gronkowski out for tonight’s game against the New York Jets, while several
players are listed as questionable to play, including tight end Aaron Hernandez
and wide receivers Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd, reports Mike Whitmer of the
Boston Globe.

While Welker and Lloyd were able to suit up and play last
weekend, Hernandez was not. He’s the “biggest questionable” on the Patriots
injury report, and coach Bill Belichick said he’s likely to once again be a
game-time decision.
The biggest questionable might be Hernandez, who could help fill the void of not having Gronkowski for the next 4-to-8 weeks. He's practiced the past few weeks, and coach Bill Belichick said Hernandez's availability for the Jets game could be a game-time decision.
Beyond Gronkowski, the Patriots will be without defensive
lineman Chandler Jones and offensive lineman Logan Mankins.
