All signs point to Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg
Jennings returning this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings, while it remains
unclear if linebacker Clay Matthews will be back, reports Vic Ketchman of
Packers.com.
All indications are Greg Jennings will return to action in this Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Coach Mike McCarthy said he expects Jennings to be a full
participant at practice today, and added the wide out is “in a good place and
ready for a full week’s work.” McCarthy did say that it is important that
Jennings is good not only for the start of the game but “all the way through.”
Jennings has been out since Week 4 after suffering an abdominal
injury that required surgery. The veteran wide receiver has only played in
parts of three games so far this season.
While the news regarding Jennings was positive, McCarthy
didn’t have anything to share regarding Matthews. The linebacker missed the
past two games due to a hamstring injury he sustained Nov. 4.
