The Arizona Cardinals have announced that quarterback Ryan
Lindley will make his first start this weekend against the St. Louis Rams due
to Kevin Kolb’s lingering rib injury and John Skelton’s ineffective play.

The Cardinals listed Kolb as questionable to play Sunday, as
he’s been limited at practice all week due to his rib injury. It’s not clear if
he’ll be available as a backup, but it is clear that the Cardinals will be
going with their third starting quarterback of the season against the Rams.
The Cardinals haven’t ruled anyone out against the Rams, but
beyond Kolb defensive lineman Calais Campbell (calf), wide receiver Early
Doucet (ribs) and running back LaRod Stephens-Howling (ribs) are all listed as
questionable to play. Everyone else on the team’s injury report is probable to
suit up against St. Louis.
