Felix Jones returned to practice Thursday despite his bruised knee, but he wasn't the only Dallas Cowboys running back to take reps with the first team.
Tanner has seen significant time with the Cowboys’ starters this
week with the two running backs ahead of him on the depth chart, Jones and
DeMarco Murray, missing time due to injuries. Murray has already been ruled out
for Sunday’s contest against the New York Giants, and Jones could end up
splitting carries with Tanner.
