While the New York Giants will be getting running back Ahmad
Bradshaw back from a neck injury Sunday during their primetime contest against the
Philadelphia Eagles, the team is listing wide receiver Hakeem Nicks as
doubtful.
Nicks missed last Thursday’s game against the Carolina
Panthers due to a knee injury, but most expected him to return this weekend
after the additional time off. However,
it’s not clear that the talented wide out will be able to join his teammates
against their NFC East rivals.
Bradshaw says the inflamed disk in his neck that kept him
out of the Carolina game is no longer an issue and that he’ll be ready to go
Sunday night. He doesn’t expect to be limited
tomorrow, but he will likely split time with running back Andre Brown, who
performed brilliantly as Bradshaw’s fill-in last week.
Linebacker Keith Rivers and offensive tackle David Diehl,
who are each dealing with leg injuries, will not be able to return against the
Eagles.
