Redskins' Injury Update: Alfred Morris,Logan Paulsen, DeAngelo Hall, Brian Orakpo

The Washington Redskins escaped "The Black Hole" with their first victory of the season, a 24-14 win over the Oakland Raiders. A few key players suffered injuries in the game, but none of them appear to be anything to lose sleep over. Luckily for the Redskins, they are heading into their bye week, so the players who got banged up Sunday will have extra time to get healthy for their Week 6 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

Running back Alfred Morris left the game late in the third quarter after a nine-yard run with a rib contusion. The good news however, is Morris said his ribs were only bruised and not fractured, and that he felt fine, according to Chris Russell of ESPN 980. Morris rushed for 71 yards on 16 carries before the injury cut his day short.

Logan Paulsen got the start at tight end Sunday with Jordan Reed sitting out due to a bruised thigh. Paulsen caught two passes for 46 yards and coughed up the rock once before leaving late in the game with a knee injury. Paulsen left the O.co Coliseum wearing a protective brace on his knee according to the Washington Post.

Cornerback Deangelo Hall left the game in the first half with a foot injury, but was back on the field in the second half and stayed in action for the remainder of the game. Linebacker Brian Orakpo left the game with a foot injury after his teammate, defensive end Stephen Bowen stepped on his foot and ripped his shoe. Orakpo wasn't out for long however, and returned to the game with a solid performance.
