The Washington Redskins (0-3) journey into the depths of "The Black Hole" Sunday to take on the Oakland Raiders (1-2) in a matchup which both teams desperately need to win. After the Redskins' 38-20 Week 3 loss to the Detroit Lions, wide receiver Pierre Garcon told reporters that quarterback Robert Griffin III was "obviously" not 100 percent. However, the second-year quarterback did not appear on the team's injury report this week.
RGIII may be healthy, but he could be missing both of his starting tight ends when the Redskins battle the Raiders Sunday. Fred Davis was limited in practice all week with a sprained ankle. Davis is listed as questionable to play Sunday. Jordan Reed missed Wednesday's practice and was limited Thursday and Friday with a bruised thigh. Reed is also listed as questionable.
Outside linebacker Brandon Jenkins was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle injury. Jenkins returned to practice on a limited basis Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game. Kicker Kai Forbath's right groin injury is still bothering him. Forbath did not practice Wednesday or Thursday and was a limited participant on Friday. Forbath is listed as questionable but head coach Mike Shanahan says if he isn't experiencing any soreness, "he should be ready to go". Cornerback Jerome Murphy is questionable after missing practice this week due to a death in his family.
Wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring), linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (knee), and free safety Brandon Meriweather (shoulder) all fully participated in practice this week and are listed as probable for Sunday's game.
