Young was arrested early Saturday morning after police
responded to a 911 burglary call. Deputies arrived on the scene of the San
Clemente, California home and spotted Young. After a short pursuit, the police
caught him, and he was arrested after some punches and kicks were thrown,
though there was no Tasering.
The occupant of the house had called police Friday night when
someone had opened the bedroom door and left. He then called the police, who
eventually arrested Young. The former wide receiver was booked on suspicion of
burglary, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.
Young was arrested twice on May 5, once for suspicion of DUI
and then later for trying to take back his black Mustang from an impound lot.
