Earlier in the week, the Miami Dolphins declined to comment
on whether the franchise was interested in quarterback Tim Tebow, who was recently released by the New York Jets. This caused speculation to swirl around
the team’s potential interest in the QB, but Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald told Pro Football Talk that the Dolphins don’t want Tebow.

Salguero says the Dolphins won’t officially go on record to
declare a lack of interest in Tebow because of the precedent such as practice
would set. Miami doesn’t want to close doors that it doesn’t have to.
Still Salguero says the team doesn’t have interest in Tebow
and isn’t expected to sign the free agent. This checks yet another club off the
Tebow’s list of potential suitors, which is shrinking at an extremely fast rate.
While there are some teams that have come out and said they
aren’t interested in Tebow, others will probably go the way of the Dolphins and
simply not comment on the situation. Whatever the case, it’s evident that it
could be tough for Tebow to find a gig as a quarterback in the NFL this season.
