Veteran OT Max Starks is visiting the #Chargers today, I'm told. Still looking for a tackle after Bryant McKinnie went back to Baltimore

The Chargers are in need of a tackle, and they’ve already
hosted several free agents this offseason, including Bryant McKinnie, who recentlyre-signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Starks has been a left tackle for the
Steelers over the past several seasons, but the team didn’t elect to bring him
back after he struggled run-blocking and pass-blocking last season.
Despite his immense size and decent track record with
Pittsburgh, Starks hasn’t garnered any interest yet this offseason. The 31-year-old
carries with him weight issues, and considering last year’s performance teams
may be concerned that he’s no longer a viable option as a starting tackle.
Still, the Chargers are currently poised to enter the season
with King Dunlap as their starting left tackle, and the team is looking to add
some competition to the mix. We’ll see soon enough if Starks is their guy.
