Jaguars Injury Report: Maurice Jones-Drew Finally Has Surgery

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew had surgery on his left foot Friday. The Jaguars best offensive player has been out since October 21 when he sustained the injury in Oakland. The Jaguars expected that Jones-Drew would be able to return eventually, but the foot didn't heal. Coach Mike Mularkey hopes his starting running back will be able to participate in offseason workouts by May.
"Hopefully back by May, late May, early June," Mularkey said. "If it's May, we're not going to miss a lot. I don't think it's significant that we're doing it now. We all felt like he had a chance to play all the way up until this week, and really we were hoping he could."
The Jaguars play the Titans in a game with no playoff implications this Sunday.

  1. It’s ironic that MJD talked $hit about Jay Cutler not playing hurt and yet he missed most of the year hurt after crying and pouting all summer.

    1. I don't think it's a coincidence that guys often end up hurt after holding out.
