Giants rumors: New York interested in Aaron Curry

Former first-round draft pick Aaron Curry recently visited the New York Giants. While Curry remains unsigned, the meeting apparently went well enough, as coach Tom Coughlin told Ralph Vacchaino of The New York Daily News that "there's interest" in the free agent.

Curry worked out for the Giants on Thursday, but he remained with the team today when they opened their weekend rookie mini-camp. He was a spectator for Friday's session, as Coughlin said he was "in for a tryout" last night. New York brought him back today to talk to him more, according to Coughlin.

"He was here last night. We brought him back in this morning and talked to him a little bit," Coughlin said. "We'll see where it goes."

Curry arrived late Wednesday night to initially meet with the Giants. He worked out and took a physical yesterday, which appeared to end his stint with the team. However, today's appearance would seem to indicate at least some level of interest.
